This week, the Department of State (DOS) released its Visa Bulletin for July 2025.

Below is a summary of the updates for employment-based categories, compared to the  June 2025 Bulletin:

 

EMPLOYMENT-BASED FINAL ACTION DATES

EB-1

All others –Current (unchanged)

China – advances 7 days to November 15, 2022

India – February 15, 2022 (unchanged)

Mexico –Current (unchanged)

Philippines –Current (unchanged)

 

EB-2 

All others – October 15, 2023 (unchanged)

China – advances 14 days to December 15, 2020

India – January 1, 2013 (unchanged)

Mexico – October 15, 2023 (unchanged)

Philippines – October 15, 2023 (unchanged)

 

EB-3                          

All others – advances 2 months to April 1, 2023

China – advances 9 days to December 1, 2020

India – advances 7 days to April 22, 2013

Mexico – advances 2 months to April 1, 2023

Philippines – advances 2 months to April 1, 2023

 

EARLY ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS (AOS) FILING DATES

For July 2025, all employment-based preference categories must follow the Final Action Dates  listed in the Department of State's Visa Bulletin. The Dates for Filing (Early Filing Dates) cannot be used this month.

 

KEY TERMS

*Final Action Dates: Applicants whose priority dates are current under these dates can file for Adjustment of Status (AOS) and/or have their application approved in July 2025.

*Dates for Filing / Early Filing Dates: Applicants with current priority dates under these dates may file their AOS in July 2025 and begin to have their applications be processed, but must wait for their priority date to become current under Final Action Dates for approval.

*Current: Means that an applicant with a priority date earlier than or matching the published cutoff date is eligible to move forward with their immigration application.
