USCIS to Conduct 2nd Round of Selections in FY2024 H-1B Lottery

Today the USCIS announced that it will conduct a second round of selections in the FY2024 H-1B lottery. Registrants should be notified shortly. 

In the announcement, the USCIS said "We recently determined that we would need to select additional registrations to reach the FY 2024 numerical allocations. Soon, we will select additional registrations from previously submitted electronic registrations using a random selection process." 

The period to file H-1B petitions for those selected in the initial lottery was April 1 to June 30, 2023.
