Katy Lopez Promoted to Partner

Katy Lopez has been promoted to Partner, effective January 15, 2022. Weaver Schlenger is excited to recognize Katy’s extensive legal expertise, success in client management and contributions to our firm. Katy leads the firm’s compliance practice (I-9s, E-Verify, LCAs and more) and she has successfully prepared hundreds of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases for clients in all industries from fintech to advertising to non-profit institutions. Katy’s expertise spans H-1B, TN, L, E and O visas, as well as PERMs, national interest waivers, outstanding researchers and extraordinary ability petitions. Previously a journalist, Katy applies her fact-hunting and story-telling skills to advocate on behalf of our clients. Katy is a frequent speaker at our Weaver Schlenger webinar series and is the former Media Coordinator for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Northern California Chapter.
