When your foreign national employee travels outside the U.S., it’s important that he or she possesses the correct documentation to return. Many, but not all, will require a valid visa stamp issued by an American Consulate or Embassy. Recently, the administration has indicated they will be increasing the number of cases to go through administrative processing, which will lead to delays and possibly denials.
Join Weaver Schlenger for a discussion of the difference between visa status and visa stamps, when a new visa stamp is necessary, how to obtain a new visa stamp, processing times, recent updates on administrative processing delays, and other considerations about travel in light of the Buy American, Hire American (BAHA) Executive Order.
