Visa Bulletin February 2017

January 10, 2017

January 10, 2017

The Department of State has just released the February 2017 Visa Bulletin, which reflects one month advancement for the China EB2 category and slight movement forward for the EB3 China and India categories.

For a few months toward the end of 2016, the USCIS announced it will accept employment-based adjustment of status applications pursuant to the Dates for Filing in the Visa Bulletin. Last month, they indicated they would accept applications under the Final Action Dates. We expect the USCIS will announce shortly whether applicants can rely on the Dates for Filing, or must follow the Application Final Action Dates for filing in February 2017.  Applicants should check the USCIS website in the next few days.
