August 2014 Visa Bulletin: EB-3 China Finally Sees Movement

The August Visa Bulletin, released by the Department of State, finally shows some movement for EB-3 China, which had retrogressed 6 years in May. EB-3 India continues to make minimal progress. Some number crunching by the DOS suggests we can expect continued movement for EB-3 China next month, but no luck for EB-2 India.

  • China – advances over 3 months to October 8, 2009
  • India – advances over 4 months to January 22, 2009
  • Mexico – still "CURRENT"
  • Philippines – still "CURRENT"

EB3

  • China – advances over 2 years to November 1, 2008
  • India – advances 1 week to November 8, 2003
  • Mexico – remains at April 1, 2011
  • Philippines – advances 1 ½ years to June 1, 2010
