March Visa Bulletin Slows Down EB-2 Forward Movement

As we predicted, yesterday's March Visa Bulletin put an end to the last two months of leapfrogging for EB-2 Indian and Chinese nationals, and there continues to be little movement for the EB-3 category. EB-2 Chinese and Indian nationals with current priority dates should file their applications to adjust status immediately, to protect against retrogression later this year which could occur for these categories.

All others - still current
China –advances 4 months to May 1, 2010
India – advances 4 months to May 1, 2010
Mexico – still current
Philippines – still current

EB3

All others – advances 3 weeks to March 15, 2006
China –advances 1 month to January 1, 2005
India –advances 1 week to August 22, 2002
Mexico – advances 3 weeks to March 15, 2006
Philippines –advancing 3 weeks to March 15, 2006
