Ms. Malison loves learning about journeys – how people discovered their talents, the challenges they had to overcome, the individuals who helped them along the way. Matching talent to opportunity also gives her great satisfaction; she enjoys watching businesses thrive after the perfect candidate fills a critical role. The byzantine US immigration system often presents a daunting obstacle to individuals and employers seeking to grow; Ms. Malison is passionate about advocating for those courageous enough to take on this system in pursuit of their goals.

Ms. Malison works with clients on both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, including several of the firm’s non-profit (H-1B cap exempt) clients. Ms. Malison has experience in preparing detailed responses to requests for evidence (RFEs) and filing EB-1 immigrant visa petitions. While in law school, Ms. Malison was a law clerk at the East Bay Community Law Center and KIND (Kids in Need of Defense). She also represented clients through the UT Immigration Clinic.
