Growing up, I never put much thought into immigration. Sure, I would see and hear things on the news, but the inner workings of immigration in the United States was not something I thought of other than in passing. When I decided to make a career change from forensics to law just several short months ago, I had planned to stick with what I knew—criminal law.

But something about Weaver Schlenger fascinated me. Business immigration law was as foreign to me as learning a new language. Perhaps it was the beautiful, happy plants I saw when I walked in, or the sunny, warm atmosphere of the meeting room, or the kindness, dedication, and unity of every person I met, but I wanted more than anything to join Weaver Schlenger the moment I stepped into the office.

When the Weaver Schlenger team took a chance on me, it felt like a dream come true. They opened the doors to a world I never imagined I’d be a part of. Each day since I started—barely half a year ago now—has been filled with amazing, fulfilling work, surrounded by a team of the most passionate, inspiring, and upstanding people I have ever had the honor of working with.

30 years is an amazing milestone for an even more amazing firm. I am excited and honored to be a part of this team, and I cannot wait for the next milestone marked by excellence, diligence, and love for the work we do and the people we help.
