Partner Laura J. Mazel presented a panel on immigration hot topics at the Sterling Educational Services seminar on September 7, 2007 in Sacramento, California.

This seminar was a good opportunity to obtain valuable information about the latest developments in employment and immigration law, with useful techniques that can be applied in every day HR management.

Laura J. Mazel will also be speaking at the Association of Independent Research Institutes’ 46th Annual Meeting on September 25, 2007 in San Antonio, Texas.

This session will have three primary focus points: (1) an overview of immigration compliance and its increasing importance to AIRI institutions; (2) the key elements of effective compliance programs; and (3) current hot topics in compliance and their potential implications for AIRI institutions.
