Lisa I. Baker is a Senior Associate Attorney with Weaver Schlenger Mazel LLP and active in both the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento, California business and legal communities.  She counsels corporations, Universities, research institutes, other entities and individuals in their immigration and nationality law matters.  Specifically, Ms. Baker assists businesses obtain temporary and permanent visa status for their valued foreign national workforce, and helps individuals meet their goals of gaining lawful permanent resident status and United States citizenship.  Ms. Baker has successfully obtained visas for renowned artists, musicians, scholars, engineers, entrepreneurs and executives.

Ms. Baker is recognized as a Rising Star by the Northern California Super Lawyers since 2009 for excellence in immigration law. She has had a professional interest in international law, including human rights, comparative law, consular practice and U.S. immigration, for more than a decade. She has studied comparative European/U.S. law under Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy in Salzburg, Austria, and Chinese/U.S. business law in Suzhou, China.
